Ingredients:

  4 slices of bread (preferably slightly stale)

  1 cup of unsweetened plant-based milk (such as almond, soy, or coconut milk)

  2 tablespoons of flour (all-purpose, whole wheat, or chickpea flour work well)

  1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast (optional, for a slightly savory flavor)

  1 tablespoon of maple syrup or agave syrup

  1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

  1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  Coconut oil or vegan butter for frying

  Optional toppings: fresh fruit, maple syrup, powdered sugar, vegan whipped cream, etc.

Instructions:
